Here are your two questions on the blog this week. BEST answer on #1 picks what we have for lunch next week. If there are several best answers, the first one in gets it. BEST answer on #2 picks our next snack. Again, if there are several best answers, the first one in gets it. Here they are:
1. I have offered credit in this class for any of you willing to volunteer on May 7 at Special Olympics track and field with me. Find me a Bible verse that tells me why it should be worth credit in this class. Give me the verse reference AND write the verse.
2. This week's memory verse is the shortest verse in the Bible.
John 11:35 Jesus wept
Here's your question. WHY did He weep?
Remember BEST answer wins, but if there are several best answers, the FIRST BEST answer wins. Go!
1. We should get credit, because we're told in James 1:22 - "Do not just read the word and so decieve yourselves. Do what it says!" And it tells us to love others, especially those who need our help!
ReplyDelete2. Jesus wept because it shows his completely human side - the pain caused by loss of loved ones.
Jesus Wept becuse Lazarith was his friend and it showed his complet human side because tears have always been a side of somone being kindove "human".
ReplyDelete2. Jesus began to weep when he saw Lazereth's sisters and friends sad and distraught by his death. When Jesus wept it showed how much he truly cares about us and that he's not just a supreme being here to rule over us. Jesus and God care about us so much anad do not like or wish to see us in pain or unhappy. This is only one example of how much God cares and loves about us.
ReplyDeleteHebrews 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
ReplyDelete2. Luke 6:31-Do to others as you would have them do to you.
ReplyDeleteJohn 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me.
