How Should We Pray?

There are many guidelines written on how to pray.  Jesus gave us the best example when he gave us the Lord's Prayer.  It teaches us who to pray to, what to pray for, and how to keep perspective!

Work with a partner to put the Lord's Prayer into your own words.  For example, instead of "Our Father Who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name"...you could say, "Father God above us, Your name is holy..."   Type up your prayer in the comment section below.

The goal of this exercise is to get your mind following the layout of Jesus' prayer, so that when you are by yourself and praying to God, you can easily follow the model.
